The volume of this expansion vessel is sufficient for most domestic solar systems, that use a single solar thermal collector.

A flexible diaphragm separates the heat transfer liquid from an inert gas that is pre-pressurised to 2.5 bar.

It is constructed from high tensile steel with an anti-corrosion surface treatment. It can be used with solar circuits at pressures up to a maximum of 6 bar.

Seamed galvanized steel flange with a 3/4” BSPP thread.

This is a sophisticated digital timer and differential temperature controller for domestic systems.

Includes 2 relay outputs for mains pumps, 1 for an auxiliary heater, 1 for an E.M. Valve, 4 inputs for temperature probes and a Freeze Control function.

It is simple to set up and is supplied with a 1000 Ohm Pt collector probe, 2 NTC thermistor tank probes and a detailed installer manual that can be viewed in Downloads section.

Over Temperature / Pressure Relief Valve

This is an important safety requirement for closed and pressurised hot water tanks. In the unlikely event of the pressure rising above 6 bar or the temperature rising above 90 deg. C, fluid will be vented to a drain.

A legal requirement for wood burning or other solid fuel boilers.

Please note, due consideration should be given to the pipe layout so that hot, high pressure fluid can be vented safely.

These expansion connectors are an absolute requirement when 5 or more solar collectors are connected in series.

They may also be used for smaller arrays when high levels of solar radiation are expected.

They are 35 cm long and are ready to connect directly to the manifold pipe of the TS20-58 via the 22mm compression joint.

Adjustable Roof Bracket For Solar Collector

These rigid Fixing Brackets are screwed directly into the rafters or additional pieces of roofing batten fixed between the rafters.

They exit from between two tile layers and give a rise of 50mm or more to the collector frame. 

They can be used on most types of flat, ridged or interlocking tiles. They are fabricated from 4 mm stainless steel.

They can also be used to mount PV modules.

The Vent is fitted to the highest part of the solar circuit in order to remove air from the circuit whilst filling.

It is connected in series with a 3/8” isolating ball valve that is closed off after  commissioning is complete.

The brass 3/8”— 3/4 “ adaptor contains an integral SS wire mesh filter to protect the precision components.

The flat faced 3/4 “ M BSPP equal T is suitable for connection to DN16 stainless steel Solar Pipe, as shown.

The assembly is rated to withstand the high temperatures of a solar circuit, the Vent to 150 C and the Ball Valve to 180 C.

It can be fitted either inside the roof space or outside, directly to the Collector Outlet.
